Samples can be derived from other Samples or other Subjects in general. Panel is a collection of Subjects. Sample pool (mixture of samples) depends on how its derived from other Samples (or Subjects). Derivation method describes how derivation is done.

Individual can belong to a Population(s) and Population can be derived from Individuals.
